The Enduring Journey: Much Work

Oh, Lord, thank You for encouraging and loving us. We make so many mistakes just trying to walk with You. Every time we feel so inadequate, You are adequate. Every time we allow fear and despair to flood our hearts, You flood our hearts with peace and rest like nothing this world can give. What an awesome blessing You are, Lord! You are the author of blessing.

There is much to be done. After this week things will move quickly. You are doing well staying available to Me. Just like last night being right where I wanted you to be. I showed My power and glory last night to George and Dana and confirmed in Debbie’s heart that I hear her cry and I know her faithfulness. Thank you for being My servants with a willing heart and a pure mind. Continue to study to show yourself approved as I use you every day to show My love and care to others. You are My witnesses to the church as well as to the world. I have a plan for you and you are to be obedient to that plan. No one else can do all that I have for you to do. Go as I tell you and do as I tell you. Share as I give direction and always listen to My voice and go forward boldly into tomorrow knowing that I am your God and I will provide all you need and give you the desires of your heart. Seek My face diligently and know that I am with you. When the doubts and fears come, and they will come, continue to trust and seek Me. I will give you peace and direction and love for those I send to you and all I send you to. I am taking care of the children and you can trust them to Me. Go, do, serve, love, pray and speak My name to all I send to you and all I send you to. You are My children and I love you. Go with all diligence and boldness into the days ahead knowing that I am with you and I will lead you and I will care for you. Continue to praise My name in the world, as there are so many who only need to hear My name and they are ready to give their lives to Me. The harvest is coming and your job is to do what I tell you and there are others doing their job and with all working together the harvest will come and soon. This New Year does not hold fear but much joy and excitement. For the child of Mine, there is no fear or concern. I am Lord for the year 2000. I am Almighty God and I can be trusted with you and all you love. Thank you for placing your family in My hands. Keep encouraging others to do so. Thank you for leaving your children in My hands. They are coming along fine and you will see the repentance and turning to Me soon. Be steadfast and unwavering in your walk. I will support you and hold you and carry you but keep walking forward to fulfill the plan I have for you. I bless you My children. Yield, submit and persevere. My joy is your strength.

The Enduring Journey: This World Is Not My Home

This world is not your home. You are just passing through. As you pass through trusting and depending on Me you will lead others to go down that path with Me. Always stay open to the leading of My Spirit. Always stay open to My Word. Listen to My voice and hear what I say and do what I say. You have and are doing well in hearing. Just do not ever close your ears to My voice. You have heard My voice enough to know but always test to be sure. It is with great joy that I walk with you daily. You are precious children whom I love greatly. Keep trusting and believing. I am bringing all together for My perfect will to be accomplished. The time is now for healing, restoration and joy. I am your God. You are My people. Keep telling all I send you to and all you meet what I am doing. The boldness has grown within you and you are now greater witnesses than you were before. Step out in this world for Me. Be available at any point to share the good news of My love, grace and provision. Peace is yours because you have believed. Joy is yours because you dare to believe. Healing is yours because you know the healer.

Lord, every day with You is sweeter than the day before. This world is not our home, thank You, Lord, as we look to eternity with You. Our whole focus has changed in these last months. We are learning to open our hand and let go all that seemed dear to lay hold of Jesus who is the dearest thing we could ever desire.

You are getting the message, My child. You are learning the most precious gift that can be given this Christmas is Jesus, His love and His Word. I love you, Charley and Karen. Just keep your eyes focused on Me so that I am all you see. I will send you to love, encourage and pray for many as long as you always see Me first. Stay on your face and in My Word. It is a wonderful journey we are on together. You are loved by many because you love many. You are always willing to love. Stay free in Me.

The Enduring Journey: Study to Show Thyself Approved

During this preparation time that Father has been walking us through, we have spent much time in the Word and in prayer. We do not want to make any mistakes concerning the call and directions that Father is giving us. Each step is a step of faith and each opportunity is an opportunity of trust and dependence on our Lord. He speaks daily but some we do not write down and some He tells us to record.

My son, I am pleased with you and the study of My Word that you have committed yourself to these past days. You need to continue to stay in My Word and stay before My throne in prayer. The words that you spoke to Don yesterday were My words and they made an impact that you will never know the fullness of. That all happened simply because you were obedient to Me and prayed for My wisdom. I am pleased with you, My son.

Lord, is there anything that I need to be doing so that the motor home and the complete package along with the money may come?

(Father speaking)

No… As you have told many people, the difference between the amen and the here it is, is the time that it takes Me to get you ready to receive the blessing. All of the things that I have promised you will come to pass. As you read in My Word this morning, I cannot lie. And as you have told many people I am never late. Just keep believing, My son, and trusting in Me. And all of these things will come to pass. The harvest will be greater than you could even imagine. And Charley, it brings great pleasure to Me the excitement that you have talked about in seeing the great harvest come. Continue seeking Me in My Word and in prayer. Don’t stop. Keep doing the little jobs that I have for you to do. The day will come soon very soon when I will tell you where to locate the buyer for your home. The kids are responding to Me very well. I am leading them and they are doing well. Tim and Carol were deeply touched when you and Karen prayed for them. Yes, they do believe in My power. And healing is taking place in them. Betty and Joe are coming along. Yes, the presence of the motor home will be a great revelation to Joe when it arrives. You will have an opportunity to share with him and see him come to Me. You did well in opening the bank account. Now I can send you more money to put into the account. And the time is very soon that you will need to go to the CPA and begin setting up the non-profit status. These are very busy times. Just stay in My Word and listen to Me. Continue to test the spirits, as satan wants to sidetrack you. Continue to ask for confirmation. Continue to talk with Karen about everything. And continue to separately come to Me for confirmation. This is very important. I love you, My son. You are doing very well by following My directions and commandments. Just keep seeking Me.

Oh, how precious are My children who seek to be obedient to all I have told them. You are a part of those precious children. You have sought to do all that I have told you. I know it has been a difficult walk but you have done well. Do not fear and do not doubt. You are very close to seeing the manifestation of My power and presence. Soon you will be about My business. I know your thoughts and I love you. I know the strain and I love you. I give you My peace. The world does not give this peace. It only comes from Me. I am your Lord. I am your God. I am the only One that you are to look to for the completion of the purpose and plan I have for you. I will give you direction and I will give you answers to your questions. I am in control of all I have called you to do. Leave that control in My hands and walk forward. Never looking back to the trials but always looking forward to the completion. I love you so much and I will take care of you. Just trust, believe, wait and love. How precious are My children who wait for Me. You are precious children and I love you. Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in Me.

The Enduring Journey: Victory/Receiving Our Inheritance

I was praising God tonight for what I sensed was a great victory over the evil one, as satan had tried through my own family to create doubt. I was also praising God for the defeat of satan, and praising Him for the wisdom and understanding to see clearly what satan was trying to do.

(Father speaking)
Yes, My son, you did well tonight. For satan tried 2 times to create doubt in your mind through different sources and you stood strong My son. You did not allow the evil one to get even a foothold. That is the last battle. It is over now. It is finished. It is finished. It is finished. The last roadblock was demolished tonight. Now the motor home will arrive. You did well My son.

I had felt a freedom today all day long from satan and his demons of doubt and fear. Then within an hour 2 times satan tried to undermine and through Father’s wisdom and understanding, I was able to see and to respond. Hallelujah! Thank You, Father. Thank You, Jesus. Thank You, Holy Spirit. To repeat Father’s words. It is finished, it is over. Glory to God!! The fight is over, the battle has been won. And all to the glory of God. Hallelujah!

Oh, I am SO glad His hand is on us! So many things are happening right now! As I read these messages Father has given to us during our days of preparation for traveling we are so refreshed in His presence. He is with us every step we take and He knows our hearts and our needs. Be encouraged dear friends as you read the words spoken to us as we sought Father’s face and listened to His voice preparing for an awesome adventure that we continue to experience.

This morning as I was on the floor, I began worshipping and praising my Lord. What happened in the next few moments is very difficult to put into words. I felt the hand of the Lord upon me as I have never felt before in my life. I felt His hand on my back and I felt His hand on my head. I felt a purging take place like none before. I felt the power of the Holy Spirit within me like never before. All I could do was be still and receive that which the Lord had for me. Much more happened while I was on the floor but words cannot express it. It is so difficult for human words to express what our Lord does. But there are some things that we are not to tell. We are to simply just receive and cherish these things in our heart. How do you describe the awesomeness of God? But yet when the power of the Holy Spirit comes in a way like it did this morning, there is no mistaking the source of that power. I pray You, Lord, for this day to be spent with You. For You are Lord.

You have experienced a portion of My rest but there is much more you have not experienced. There is much more.

(Charley speaking)
We have waited for many months to see the manifestation of the promises of God. During that time we have grown in our relationship with the Lord and in our ability to choose to trust Him and hear His voice. As we await the arrival of our motor home, one thing that became so apparent to me is that our trust in God did not depend on whether we received the motor home and finances but our trust in God totally depended on who HE IS. If I never receive the things, HE IS STILL GOD.

We have been carrying and nurturing this vision for many months. We have protected the vision by our faith and belief in the Most High God. We have come across unbelievers, skeptics and scoffers. But we have protected the vision at all cost. It has grown beyond our expectations when we began. Today is the day of delivery. The vision is no longer a vision, it is reality. The joy of seeing the newborn is here.

(Father speaking)
You have been faithful My children. You have grown mightily. Your day of delivery is here. That is the travail that Charley went through this morning. Charley was the one who went through it because he is the one that is the spiritual leader. It was his responsibility to go through the travail. The day of delivery is here. I have chosen this day and just as with a newborn all you have to do is be willing to receive that which I have for you. As I told you this morning, Karen, all that I have for you will be greater than your greatest, fondest dreams. Just receive. Delivery day is here. Just as today is the first day of the rest of your lives, today the dreams come forth.

Isaiah 66:9 Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery? says the Lord. Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb? says your God.

The Enduring Journey: Joy Coming

I love to reflect back on these early days when this ministry first began in the physical realm. It had already begun in the spirit about 6 months before our actual first trip. There was so much preparation that had to happen. As we listened to the Lord and followed His directions to prepare, we were so blessed to see daily His provision and His plans come to fruition. As you read and sense the excitement we felt preparing our hearts and minds for this new work, we pray that you will also experience the excitement of following the Lord totally and completely in the paths that He wants you to trod in your daily life. We are all His children and as such He desires His best for us! He wants us to be usable vessels in His hands for the Kingdom of God.

There is more great joy awaiting you, My children. I have much for you to do. The time is almost here when you will leave. The schedule is set and the time is soon when you leave to do all that I have set out for you to do. You are ready. Just continue in My Word and stay ready to leave. Get all your clothing and supplies together. When the motor home arrives, it will be a quick preparation time. You will call all on your list to come and see the provision I have sent. You will tell all who come how I have given this to you because of your trust and belief in Me. It will not be pride or arrogance but truth and confidence. Some may see it as the other but it will only be, look what I have done. Some will still not believe but will be skeptical and others will fall on their face before Me in repentance and love. Why is it that My children have to see Me work in order to know that I am working? It is the condition of man to doubt and fear what is of Me. I love My children and want them to come to Me willingly and obediently but they resist and suffer the loss of fellowship. You have believed and have chosen to walk with Me. Just do not waver or be fearful. I will provide all I have promised and you have done well to follow all My words. You have been so sensitive to My Spirit. Just continue to do so as the time draws close for all to be accomplished. Even you will be so awed by how the provision comes that your faith will be strengthened and your walk will be straighter. Go and tell My people that the time is now for turning to Me completely and totally. Much will be happening in our world that demands that My people will stand strong. It is the time to make that commitment to Me that will place you at the point of danger just to stand for Me. I am calling all My people to be accountable to Me and to each other. Your word must be your life. What you say must be what you believe. Playing time is over. Some will not change but there are many others who will hear what you say and fall on their face in confession and repentance. They will become the warriors I need at this time. Many will hear and know that I am God and there is no other. You just go and tell all whom I bring to you. Many will be brought to you and I will send you to many. Just remain so close to Me that you hear and obey in a moment. I love you both and I am so glad you have chosen to believe what I have said and have done it. When you falter reach out for Me. I am right here always and will help you. Do not listen to the enemy no matter what he says. Always check to be sure who is talking to you. You know My voice now as never before so just listen and respond as I speak. There is great joy coming even more than you are experiencing now. The time on the road will be the most wonderful you have ever spent. I know you both love each other so much and that will grow as you serve Me and others. The testimony of your life together is a testimony of Me. Keep being open and sharing what I am doing in your life and every day there will be someone to tell. You have done well to speak boldly all that I have given. It is almost time to go so don’t let down. You did well to fast today, as I wanted this time with you totally uninhibited and close. Listen, I will give even more direction to you about these next few days. Share it all with each other. It is all-important to each day’s walk.

The Enduring Journey: Confession

November 1, 1999

Tonight Karen and I went to a friend’s 90th Birthday Party. While there I sat down at a table with another friend, his wife and daughter and the senior adult pastor at the church. I began sharing the story of Father’s direction in our lives. While I was sharing, this man interrupted me and said, “I have something to share with you. While you have been sharing with me, Father quickened my spirit 3 separate times to ask you, what is your greatest fear?” I did not know what direction he was going and Father gave him this revelation. “The thing that you must fear the most is pride. Satan will suddenly come upon you with pride and the Word says that pride goes before a fall. You must address this continually and stay before Father’s throne.”
This morning when I was on my face before Father, praising Him and worshipping Him, I began confessing before Him that in the midst of the excitement that the doubts and fears had been trying to come in. I have been battling the doubts and fears with satan, and I told Father that I wanted to believe more, trust more, love Him more, and rejoice in Him more.

(Father speaking)
Son, you have been doing well. You have been believing Me, and trusting Me, and loving Me and rejoicing in Me. The work that you and Karen have done on the house and shop has been awesome. You have done everything that I have asked you to do. The house is in order. I said, Lord, is the motor home to be here before we leave and the money? He said, Yes, just keep believing. The motor home will be here. I understand all that is happening right now with you. All you need to do is keep believing and trusting.

(Karen Speaking)
This evening a friend called and wanted to know if I could take her blood pressure. I said yes and she came down immediately. I realized when she got here that she was very distressed. She began crying and exclaiming how afraid she was of dying and leaving her daughter alone. Before I even took her blood pressure, I began praying and rebuking satan in her life. I recognized that she was under heavy attack and that in order to take her blood pressure and for her to see Jesus, we had to do battle right then. After prayer, I took her blood pressure and it was high. We began talking and she was still crying. She was confessing her fear, her failure, her inadequacy, and her embarrassment at being so weak. I began speaking truth from the Word to her. We are only strong in Jesus. Without Him we can do nothing. He is the only reason that we have any strength. I told her not to tell me that she was embarrassed. That this was a lie of satan as was the fear, condemnation, guilt and dread. She began to see through the schemes of the enemy. She began to see all the burden that she had been carrying that was not hers to carry. She began to see how satan had lied to her and deceived her. She has been counseling a couple in trouble and had told them all that she did not believe at this moment. The Lord began to reveal the sin in her life of fear, doubt, unbelief, lack of faith and trust in Him and her eyes were opened to the truth of her situation. Praise God for all He did this evening in her life. I will give her some time and then check on her. Thank you, Lord, for the awesome opportunity to love her and listen to her. Thank You for the words You gave me to tell her that brought confirmation to her spirit. Before she left she spoke that she had been praying in the motor home and that it would be here soon. Thank You, Lord, for this prophetic word.

I look back at these notes written during a time of preparation and seeking the Lord for direction at the beginning of this ministry and realize that we never quit seeking His face and listening to His voice. We have now been doing this work for over 8 years and we still have the same needs and desires which are Father’s plans and purposes for our lives. Every move we make and every word we speak, we want them to be His and only His. We must continue to die to self so that Christ Jesus lives in us so that all we do will give Him honor and glory. These are life lessons and we get so excited to learn these lessons and put them into practice.

Ephesians 5:8-14 “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”

The Enduring Journey: The Real Walk

Oh, My children, I have much for you to do. The time is soon that you will leave. I have watched you as you have trusted and waited on Me. It has given Me great joy to see your faith grow. The path has not been easy but it has been sure. You are learning how to spend time with Me first before the world takes your mind away. You are learning to stay with Me all day in your heart and mind. That is what I desire. As you go you will spend all your time with Me in order for Me to pour through you all that I desire. You are My chosen vessels for this day and time to go to My pastors. They are falling away in increasing numbers. The enemy is drawing them away very quickly. I have chosen those for you to go to. More than are on the list, so much more. They will come to you as much as you go to them. They will come begging for a word from Me and I will give it to you. Listen very closely in these days as I am going to give specific instructions for the completion of the process that has been working for so long. Your first trip will be about 10 days and I will give the itinerary. You will go with great anticipation of My preparation that has already taken place. It will be a great joy for you and great joy for Me as you begin to experience a small part of what I have for you. Your willingness to believe and your obedience have opened the doors for much to be done in the Kingdom. Stay before Me and seek My face as you have been first before anything else. I will continue to speak to you both as you walk through this time. You have done well in preparation. It is almost over and I will bring it all to pass as I have said. When doubts or fears come against you do as you have, rebuke the enemy and tell him to leave, you belong to Me and I am your God and you are My children. You are free from any influence by the enemy so do not receive anything he gives. You are Mine and as such are protected by the blood of the Lamb, My Son. My peace I give to you. My rest is yours. Keep your mind uncluttered with trying to figure out how it will all work. I am bringing to pass all that needs to happen. Trust Me and walk with Me into the provision I have for you.

Psalm 37:3-4
Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Isaiah 50:10
Who among you fears the Lord? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord and rely upon his God.

The Enduring Journey: No Worries/Perseverance

As the Lord draws us closer to leaving on the first trip, He continues to pour His words of encouragement and blessing into us. We spend much time each day seeking Him and reading His Word. To be on a journey as we are takes all of our energies just to stay focused on the Lord and what He desires us to do. We want to be ready when He says to leave. Our hearts, our minds, our every movement are in tune with His Spirit. We have read over the years stories of people led by the Lord into feats of faith and we see His hand upon us for that very purpose. May you receive encouragement today for your journey of faith!

I have much for you to do tomorrow. Begin your day with Me, listen to Me. I will use you to bless and encourage many. Thank you for listening and obeying Me. I love you. I have much for you to do. You are gaining strength in patience. You are close to receiving all I have for you. Rejoice, the time to leave is upon you. Keep your eyes open and your heart open. Your faith is a testimony of My grace. Wisdom and understanding are yours as you seek Me. I receive your praise and I place My hand on both of you for the anointing of Pastor/Teacher. This office you will use in your work with pastors and those I send you to. I am going to show you more in the days to come for you to study in preparation for the first trip. I am with you every step you take. Keep writing as I tell you and keep praising as I show you. The joy and peace that you are experiencing is My blessing for your obedience. Rest in it. You will rest in it as you travel, love, share and encourage people. You will experience more joy than you ever thought possible. You are full to overflowing. Spill it out on all I send to you. I am your constant supply. I will give specific instructions soon concerning the house. I have a buyer and the timing will be Mine. Begin practicing on your instruments. I have songs for you to write and worship for you to do. I am unfolding more of My plan for you. Soon, very soon, it will be time to proceed with the non-profit status. Continue to assemble your board. Remember, your adversary is going to try to delay My plan but he can’t. It is all in motion and will happen in My time.

Psalm 31:14-15 But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord; I say; “You are my God.” My times are in Your hand; deliver me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me.

PERSEVERANCE

October 20, 1999
(Father speaking)
You are doing well in your walk. You are hearing My voice and being obedient. When you come upon an obstacle or an attack of the enemy, you are seeking Me and rebuking him. This is the walk of faith that I have designed for you. Continue to walk this walk as I give you direction. You know by what I have told you that the motor home is coming soon and the finances are to come soon. Keep seeking Me and my direction for each step and I will show you what comes next. The house is almost ready. There are a few more things to do and then the buyer will come. I will tell you how to find the buyer. I will give you complete and total peace as you walk this walk and talk to others about what I am doing. You are doing well, My children, to hear Me and do as I say. Your excitement and your readiness to leave are pleasant to Me. I love you both and I am caring for you. You will have all that I have promised. Keep talking to each other as you have. Stay so open that nothing will be between you or be hid from each of you. Your children are being drawn to Me by your faith. They are being drawn to each other by your faith. You are walking in love and seek to walk in love even more than you are now. This is a part of what you are teaching others. You are an example of what a faith walk really is and your testimony of today is more powerful than you will ever know. Many are watching you and seeing a life they do not know. They are perplexed and troubled but drawn to you because of that perplexity. You are doing very well. I know it is not easy to leave your home and to go not knowing all I have for you but trust Me and know that I will take care of you. Every day I will provide and I will give you all you need or show you what to do to obtain all that you need. You are My precious children and I am pleased that you are seeking Me as you are and I will give you total and complete direction for each step of the way. Watch out for deception by the enemy and always ask Me for any confirmation of what you believe I have said. You are very soon going to be traveling to see David and Martha and others so that they will know of your love and care. I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end so follow Me and I will lead you where I want you to go. All that you have planned to take will fit in the motor home I have for you. Continue to set aside all that I show you to take and be prepared to go as never before. You will travel before Thanksgiving as I have said and you will be on the road right up to the reunion. Many will be drawn to Me as you travel because of the testimony of My provision and call on your life. The joy will be so overflowing and infectious that others will seek Me as never before and yearn to know Me as you do and listen for My voice. I am excited with you for these days ahead. Just rest in Me and I will be to you all that you need. Your faith has made you whole. Both of you. Peace and rest are yours each day as you seek Me and walk with Me and love Me and obey Me. This is My word of comfort to you this day. I am your Lord. You are My children. We walk together and you will be a blessing to many.

The Enduring Journey: Praise and Adoration

The Lord has placed within my heart a desire to know more about Intercession. All my life I have heard about prayer and the need to pray daily but the term Intercession is new to me. As I was reading a book on intercession, this time of relationship with the Lord occurred.

(In studying the meaning of Intercession I found in my NavPress WordSearch information that: Intercession is prayer on behalf of another, and naturally arises from the instinct of the human heart—not merely prompted by affection and interest, but recognizing that God's relation to man is not merely individual, but social. Intercession is thus to be regarded as the spontaneous act of man for his fellowman.)

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,

Praise Time with Father and His Answer

While reading the book about Intercession, I began to just praise the Lord for His love and provision. I began to just tell Him how much I love Him and trust Him for our every need. The hospital bill coming in today had Charley and me both seeking Him in prayer just to be sure we heard Him right concerning the finances. Tonight as I praised Him, He began to speak to me and it was as soothing oil flowing into my spirit. Father said, “O My child, I love you very much. I am so pleased with the time you have been spending with Me. I have enjoyed the fellowship with both of you. You are doing so well to stand and trust. As Charley shared with James this morning, I was so pleased. He has been so faithful to tell what I am doing in your life. I know it is easy to look at the hospital bill and other finances and wonder if you have heard Me correctly but you have. Yes, I am providing all your need. Every financial need will be met. Just continue to trust Me and depend on Me. To seek My face and spend time with My Word. You are doing well and I am well pleased. The motor home is coming very soon. Everything done today was another step in the preparation and I will have more for you to do tomorrow. Just keep waiting in faith believing Me as I speak to you. Do not get out of My rest. Stay in My rest.”

(During this season of our lives Charley was dealing with kidney stones that had kept his physical strength weak but his spirit soaring in total trust and dependence on the Lord for healing and for direction concerning the ministry. We continued to travel and touch people’s lives for the Kingdom of God.)

REJOICE!

(Father speaking)
You have done well in hearing Me about the board members. They not only love Me with their whole hearts but they know how to trust and believe Me when I speak. They are people of prayer and will give you great encouragement and love. Your time with Me this morning has been wonderful. Thank you for being obedient and receptive, as I have spoken. You are right that your enemy has been trying to disrupt My plans but He has failed because you are staying close to Me. Just keep spending your time with Me and believing Me in all I have said and all will be accomplished soon. Do not worry or fret, I am with you every step of the way. You are hearing Me and being obedient to Me. Continue to seek My wisdom and direction on all areas of the ministry. It is all coming together as I desire and there is more to come. Every day expect and receive what I have for you. I love you both so much and you are My children. Keep telling the story and seeing the reward of your obedience. I am receiving all honor and glory from what you are doing.

The Enduring Journey: When What You Heard and What Happens Do Not Match

As you have followed our footsteps up to this point in this awesome journey with the Lord, you have heard us speak and believe that the motor home was to be here September 1, so that we would leave on the ministry trip in the motor home. There is one thing we have learned through many years seeking the Lord and desiring to hear His voice, when the visible evidence of His provision that He has told us is coming does not arrive, it is not the Lord that has forgotten us or lied to us. Oh, no, our God does not lie. He is truth and He will always tell the truth. What has happened is that we have not heard Him correctly or we have imposed our own desires upon His word to us. I read a devotional the other day that pointed this out so clearly. “Real Bible hope is not ‘wishing’. It is earnest, intense expectation that what God has said will come to pass.” We have seen our motor home arrive in front of our house in our dreams and we have seen it in our thoughts arrive and we can almost see the color and the way it is arranged. We have that expectation and hope that what the Lord has told us will happen is going to happen in His timing and in His way. We must always expect God to move on our situation and always believe what He says in His Word is true. We must continue to seek Him through prayer and to listen for His voice. Sometimes we hear His voice and it is so clear. We see the manifestation of His promises daily. When our motor home did not arrive on September 1 like we thought, we said, what happened Father? He told us that what He has promised will come, will come. He has assured us that we are walking the path He has laid out for us so we need not try to confine Him to a set time and place but to just trust Him to provide. We traveled on our first ministry trip in the car He had provided for us several years before He called us into the ministry to pastors. This car, a Crown Victoria, gets over 25 miles to the gallon, is so comfortable that we can travel 5-600 miles a day without a problem, and we have seen His hand of protection as we travel. We have met so many people in motels, restaurants and stores that we would never have met if we had not spent this time in the car. Father had a plan. We thought we knew what He was doing but we had no clue. He has revealed to us one day at a time His purposes for us traveling in the car for a season. When the Lord gave me this title for the book, Seasons of a Servant, I had no idea the truth that would be revealed through that title. He has told us that the time we spent in the car has blessed so many lives and that the time we will spend in the motor home will also bless many lives. He said the impact will even be greater and we are saying, Oh, Lord, how could it be greater and He tells us to just wait and see. We did not wait until we had the motor home and all the finances needed to begin. We began on faith trusting Father to provide our every need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus and He has done that. We continue to look towards the time we will have the motor home but right now, we will obey Him when He says to go and we will trust Him to provide our every need and we will walk in obedience when He tells us to leave and where we are to go. Lord, we love You and we will serve You.

PURE HEART
October 1, 1999

As I was praying this morning, I cried out to Father about Bob, Walter and Todd. Father told me that Bob was in rebellion and was making wrong choices and therefore was reaping the benefit of that rebellion and poor choices. Father said that my responsibility towards Bob is to pray for him as He brings Bob to my mind and to trust Him to take care of Bob. Walter is an example of Father’s word that states that the sin of man will be visited to the third and fourth generation. Walter is seeking and searching but like Bob he is choosing not to hear and obey. My responsibility with Walter like Bob is to continue to pray for him. When I was talking to Father about Todd, about whether his situation was an illness or a demon, Father told me that I was discerning correctly and to proceed slowly and carefully while seeking His wisdom and understanding. Father asked me about the motor home we saw at Wal-Mart last night, if I liked it. I told Him it was big and beautiful. He said, Is that the one you want? I said, Lord, I want the motor home that You want me to have, not necessarily the biggest and the best. I just want You to receive the praise, honor and glory for the motor home. Because whatever motor home You bring me will draw men to You in the telling of the story at home as well as while we travel. And the money that You bring in the way You bring it and its presence will be a witness about You and how awesome You are. I just want You to receive honor and glory.

Father said, you have answered well My son. The motor home and the money are on the way. Just keep thanking Me, praising Me and worshipping Me. I have sent you encouragement each day that you are on the right path. Stay in My Word, stay before Me in prayer and I will continue to direct your path.

The Enduring Journey: Soon and Very Soon

As we make preparations to leave and anticipate the arrival of the motor home, the Lord continues to send folks to us who need His love. Everything that is happening in our life is a part of His plan. He keeps telling us to trust Him and that He will provide all that we need. We do not need to try to figure out how He is going to work but just know that He is working.

Charley, I am pleased with what you did today, you and Karen. In visiting with Patty and the prayers you prayed. Yes, I anointed your home with the power of My Holy Spirit. And what I desired to take place there today did indeed take place. The motor home is en-route. You need to quit trying to figure out how it is going to come because you do not have a clue. Just continue in your preparation to be ready. Because when it arrives and you are not busy talking to friends and neighbors and telling them about My provision for you, you need to be busy about loading the motor home and getting ready to go. At the right time I will tell where your destination will be. You have done well to not be concerned about the bills you have to pay. Just continue to roll that care upon Me. There will be plenty of money to take care of your bills. Today I sent you the $20. I have much more for you. Karen was correct in Patty having a broken heart but I can fix her broken heart. As we await our provision for the journey ahead, Father continues to tell us that we must ABIDE in Him.

What joy to hear Your voice, my Lord, and to know of Your love for us!

(Father Speaking)
I have placed within you praise and adoration. I have placed within you love. I have placed within you giving. I have placed within you faith. It is this faith that is being exercised right now, as you trust Me totally and completely for today and every moment of this day. I am bringing in all that I have told you and you are doing so well to trust Me. Continue to tell all around you what I am doing because it will be fulfilled in My time and very soon. This is My day and I am your Lord and you are to follow obediently as I walk you through this time. Never fear for I am with you. Do not doubt because I am your God. You are My precious children and I love you so much. This is what My love is like. This is what My protection and care is like. This is what trusting Me totally is like and this is what being My child is like. Don’t stop and don’t stray. Don’t cease from telling others. All will be fulfilled as I say.

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

One thing we continue to learn about our Lord, His timing and our timing are usually not the same. We see the here and now. He operates on supernatural time and on His big picture. You shall see in the days to come that we must learn what trusting God really means.

The Enduring Journey: Encouraged

We are ready to go! So much is happening as we prepare under Father’s direction. We visited with our new pastor and asked if we could be under the Church’s umbrella of authority as we travel. We are an interdenominational ministry, but we are under the umbrella of love and prayer through our Church family. Father continues to encourage us that we are walking the path He has for us. He will provide all of our needs, spiritual, emotional and physical.

You did well this morning when you were visiting with the pastor. He will come back to you after he has visited with his board. You will be under his umbrella as well as under his authority. You will need to reassure your ministry partners that you love them. Continue today and tomorrow with getting ready to leave. You were correct in saying to different people that you would be leaving very soon. Do the last minute preparations for you will truly be leaving very soon! Continue to encourage David (Pastor in Mississippi) over the email. It won’t be very long before you can visit with him face to face. As I told you the other day things are to begin moving very fast beginning tomorrow. Hang on because you and I are going to have an awesome journey. Stay before Me! Stay in My Word! Stay in an attitude of prayer and submission. I love you. HERE WE GO!!!!!

Thoughts & Ideas

(Karen speaking)
We had several come to us and give us ideas as to how we should present the ministry. Father gave us direction to begin by visiting those whose names He had given us and to allow His Holy Spirit to move and work through us. We must keep our total focus on the Lord and what He wants us to do. We appreciate all those who have shared with us but we listen to the voice of the Lord and any suggestions made by others are passed through the discerning of the Holy Spirit. We only move when Father tells us.

Charley’s response was:
In his mind and heart he desires to teach ministers how to be Godly husbands and fathers. He wants to deal with the marriage relationship. He plans to present practical help for husbands so they know how to minister to their wives. One resource is to use the book, Do Yourself A Favor Love Your Wife by H. Page Williams, as a tool. We gave these thoughts and ideas to the Lord. Charley has been told that he is a great organizer, caregiver and facilitator. A friend looked at our brochure and saw that what he was saying to us about ministry was confirmed by what the Lord had told us about ministry. We also have opportunities to work in El Salvador and possibly other countries.

Peace

(Karen speaking)
We have experienced great peace as we have prepared to leave. The plans that the Lord has for us continue to manifest themselves daily. It is the waiting that can wear on us. That is when we must seek the Lord for His peace and rest even in the midst of the wait.

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Isaiah 26:3

Last night, September 15, Wedgwood Baptist Church was attacked by a gunman and several people were killed. He walked into the sanctuary while the youth were having a rally for See You at the Pole. There will be many who turn to the Lord because of this tragedy combined with the tragedy at Littleton and other places in the country. Also the hurricanes that are battering the east coast, the earthquakes in foreign countries and other signs of the end times. God is giving a call now to all to come to Him. Satan is stepping up the evil in our land and God is calling His people to be accountable to Him and put down their petty strife and follow Him totally and completely. Will we heed this call or will we ignore the greatest opportunity for harvest that has ever come? He is rallying His people of all denominations to join together and be that formidable force to fight the enemy. As for Charley and I we choose to give heed to the call of God on our life and go around the world telling people about Jesus and His saving Grace. Glory to His Name!

We have gone through some crises of belief many times as we have sought the Lord and desired to know that we are right where He wants us. This was one of those times when I needed some confirmation that we were walking the path that He had for us at this time. Oh, I rejoice that Father is always there and does not leave us nor forsake us!

Straight the Road!

You have done well. You continue to believe. This is My ministry. I am in control. Do not look to the right or left. I will give direction. I will provide. You did well to talk to your grandson. He knows Me and the power of prayer. Just trust, just believe. Be ready. Don’t let down, don’t hesitate to tell what I am doing. Don’t quit praising, spending time! Don’t think I have failed you! I am here and I have all for you. Just be ready to go. I love you. You are precious children. Keep holding, keep loving, keep giving! I want you to give more and trust Me. You only have a few days—stay ready! It is almost time! Praise Me, Adore Me, Love Me! I am your Father. You have done so well. You haven’t wavered though others have tried to bring doubt. Hold fast to Me. We are on our way. Share this with Charley. Assure him he has heard My every word correctly. Just be ready to do as I say. He is growing in strength and vitality in My Spirit. Stay focused, stay before Me. Stay close.

We leave in a few days for the first Ministry trip. The Lord has continued to speak truth and encouragement to us. As we seek His face and His direction, we must not allow ourselves to be duped by satan to take our eyes off of the Lord and put it on the circumstances in our life. We are so excited and do not want to walk in the flesh but we desire to Walk in the Spirit. We rejoice in all that the Lord is doing! He is showing us so much and we want to be obedient.

Charley, you and Karen have done well in preparation. After Tuesday things are going to begin moving extremely fast but you will do fine because of your excitement and willingness to obey.

(Charley speaking)
Lord, I am concerned about Bob. My desire is for him to be willing for You to work in him. Is there anything that I can do to help in this matter?

(Father speaking)
No, Charley, you have done all I have asked you to do and you have done it well. No matter what happens tomorrow, or what is said, continue in love and joy and I will give you peace. Be careful that you don’t pick up any excess baggage. I will help you but you must stay close to Me. You must always stay close to Me. Keep praising and loving Me, keep obeying Me. I have much for you to do and I have much to give you. Like I told Karen there is much that you don’t know about. But as long as you love Me, praise Me, adore Me and obey Me, we are going to have a fun time together. Because you have a heart for ministry, a heart for My ministry and I am pleased with you. Now get up off the floor and go tell Karen what I have told you.

Be Ready

YOU DID WELL TO SHARE WITH PASTOR THIS MORNING. HE WILL BE A GREAT ADVOCATE OF PRAYER SUPPORT FOR YOU. CONTINUE IN YOUR STATE OF READINESS FOR THE TIME IS COMING SOON WHEN I WILL TELL YOU TO GO. YOU DID WELL NOT TO BE CONCERNED OVER THE MONEY THAT IS OWED YOU FOR YOU WILL HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH. Father showed me the pipeline. It was gushing forth money. He told me that there would be more than enough pressed down shaken together and over flowing. Satan tried to put a net over it to stop it but it ripped the net asunder. YOU THINK THAT MONEY IS GOING TO OVERPOWER YOU BUT YOU ARE PREPARED TO HANDLE IT. YOU WILL HAVE TO LISTEN CLOSELY WHILE I TELL YOU WHERE IT NEEDS TO GO. BUT SEEK ME FIRST AND I WILL GIVE WISDOM THAT YOU WILL KNOW WHERE THE MONEY IS TO GO. YOUR THOUGHTS OF SHARING WITH MINISTRIES AS WELL AS THE PASTORS YOU ARE TO GO VISIT IS TRUE BECAUSE IT CAME FROM ME. SEVERAL OF THE PASTORS ARE STRUGGLING WITH THEIR NEW POSITION AND FINANCIALLY. YOU ARE TO LOVE THEM, ENCOURAGE THEM AND HELP THEM WITH THE BLESSING I GIVE YOU FOR THEM FINANCIALLY. OTHERS NEED YOUR LOVE AND ENCOURAGEMENT. PLAN TO SPEND TIME WITH THEM AND JUST TELL THEM WHAT I TELL YOU TO TELL THEM. ONE PASTOR AND HIS WIFE ARE WAITING FOR YOU TO COME, AS THEY NEED YOUR LOVE AND ENCOURAGEMENT ALSO. THEY BOTH HAVE HIGH REGARD FOR YOU. JUST STAY READY TO GO FOR THE TIME IS NIGH. I AM PREPARING YOUR FUTURE PASTOR SO THAT WHEN I TELL YOU TO GO TO HIM HE WILL RECEIVE YOU FOR I HAVE PREPARED HIS HEART.

Pipeline

(Charley speaking)
The pipeline is at 3/4 capacity and flowing but the room was not being filled up with money. I saw the demons of hell try to put a mesh over it to stop it. As they tried to stop it, it was coming with such force that it ripped it and they were gone. It was at full force but it never made a big pile like it was being used up as fast as it came. It was going out as quickly as it came. A foundational amount was staying there but the rest was going out. Father did not indicate the ministries we were to give to but that to give to ministries and individuals was correct. He said that we would be living in the motor home. I will not go beyond what He said to study what He meant. He said I have many more names for your list that will be revealed as you go along. He said stay ready, be ready, be ready to go. There was urgency in His voice to be ready. Do not get slack, the time is nigh is what I perceived He was saying. I felt the power of the Holy Spirit all over me for I do not think I could have received what I saw and what He told me without His power.

Anticipation

Anticipation is our life at this point! We look forward to each day with its share of opportunities to minister and also as we listen to the Lord for His instructions. Soon we will be traveling and touching lives. Father has prepared us all of our lives for this moment in time. We rejoice to see His hand orchestrating our lives. We go in Your name, Lord Jesus!

The Enduring Journey: Vision/Preparation/Obedience

During these past months we have both experienced visions from the Lord preparing us for this new step of faith and trust. Below is a vision give to Charley for what Father has planned for us.

The Vision

July 24, 1999 (Karen speaking)
A couple of weeks ago Charley saw the motor home pull up in front of the house pulling a vehicle, which appeared to be something like a 4 door Ford Explorer. And then tonight he again saw the motor home pull up in front of the house and man and woman came to the door and as he opened it, they asked, “Are you Charles Tackett?” As he welcomed them into the house, they began sharing what Father had told them to do. They were to bring the motor home and car to us to be used in ministry: The ministry of loving and encouraging pastors, teaching and preaching God’s Word. As Father was showing all of this He encouraged Charley to begin praying blessings over this couple immediately for their obedience and dedication to Father’s ministry. Father was visiting with Charley a few days ago at Intercession. As He spoke with him, Father was encouraging him that even though it had been a difficult week in many aspects that all was well and He was pleased. He was pleased because even in the midst of adversity, Charley was striving to find the things that Father was trying to teach him through the adversity. He felt he should have had more questions to ask but there was nothing within him but peace. What a joy to experience such awesome peace! I have also seen visions of the motor home coming in much the same way. I did not recognize the people who brought it but knew they were giving it to us for ministry. We shared with each other what the Lord had shown us tonight and it confirmed in our hearts what Father is doing. We are so excited and expectant of what is coming. We praise and thank the Lord for how He will bring about His plans.

Preparation

His name shall endure forever, His name shall continue as long as the sun. And men shall be blessed in Him; all nations shall call Him blessed. -Psalm 72:17

We continue to make preparations for the first ministry trip. The plans are coming together as Father gives direction. It is a joy to walk each day in Father’s love and in His Spirit. Lord, we thank You for giving us encouragement and confirmation of what we are doing. Father has given the business card design, the brochure design and I know He will give the newsletter design.

August 5, 1999 (Charley & Father dialogue in prayer)
Charley, Yes, Lord, it is time for you to make the final preparations. I want you to take a look at the list and begin to prepare your route. As you begin your preparation just listen to Me and I will help you every step of the way. Get ready to go. The time is soon, very soon. Lord that is the same thing You told Karen last Sunday. Yes and I am telling you. You have done well to spend time in My Word and before Me in prayer. You must keep doing that. But it is time to make final preparations. Lord, Yes Charley, what about the name for the ministry and the cards Karen has been working on? Karen has done very well. She was listening very closely to Me as she designed that. Just tell her to continue her work on the cards and keep listening to Me. I will help her. Thank You Lord.

Obedience

For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. -Romans 5:19

Each day is exciting as we seek Father for the plans and purposes that He has for us. We desire to be totally and completely obedient so we must listen closely to what Father tells us. We do not want to miss any of His words of wisdom and direction.

August 18, 1999 (Father speaking to Charley)
You have done well in what you have been doing the last few days in loving and encouraging people. You did well in hearing My voice about the pastor. I will tell you when it is time to talk to him. I will give you words to speak to him. The transition time will be smooth.
(Karen speaking) It is so important to have a blessing from a church when you leave so this is what we desire as we leave according to Father’s direction.
(Father speaking) All of this because you dare to believe and have been found faithful! September 14 is the day you will leave your current church. I love you My son.

August 21, 1999 (Father speaking)
Good morning, Charley. You and Karen are doing well in following the path that I have set for you. But you must stay in My Word and before Me in prayer and be careful not to stray away from My path. You must complete your work where you are before you advance to the next path that I have for you. I will take care of all your needs. I love you. Just stay on the path and do not waver.

August 21 (Father & Karen in dialogue through prayer)
You are doing what I have told you. Continue to be diligent in being ready. Keep reading the Word and keep studying. Stay in My presence so you are available to Me as I bring others to you. Your faith and your trust are a sweet aroma to Me. I love you. Continue to allow My Spirit to teach you. Lord did I do all you wanted me to do with my friend? Oh, Yes, just keep loving and encouraging her. Lord, forgive me when the doubts come. You are doing well because you are not receiving the enemies’ darts of doubt. Keep trusting, keep believing-you are on your way. You are already fulfilling the call and the anointing. Look at those whose lives you are touching and those you do not even realize. It’s happening! Stay with Me!

Can there be any doubt what a personal relationship with Jesus will do in your life as you spend time on your face in prayer before His throne. Let these words be an encouragement for you to spend time each day talking to your Lord and listening to His direction and wisdom. He has so much encouragement for you in His Word and through the communication of prayer.

Beginning the Journey: PEACE IN THE MIDST OF THE STORM

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

In services one Sunday morning, we experienced some awesome praise and worship time. It was a small non-denominational church but the presence of the Holy Spirit was experienced by those in attendance. During these months in the very beginning of the vision of Christ’s Kingdom Ministries, the Lord spoke so many encouraging words to us. We were in a preparation mode for what He had planned ahead. Little did we know how vast the vision was but the Lord revealed it one day at a time as we sought Him with our whole heart!

Praise and Worship Time!

During the service as our drummer played as unto the Lord after the praise and worship time, Father gave me this:

I am doing within you what you have asked. If you were not willing to receive you should not have asked. I am your God. I am worthy to be praised, honored and adored. Trust Me, Love Me, Seek Me, and Worship Me. I am all you have. You are My people. Let Me do My work. I know what I am doing. There can be no mistakes when you hear My voice and do what I say.

The Message

The pastor preached on exactly what Father gave me. I had received it before the message was given. A young woman who is a member of the congregation shared after the service and her words fit exactly with what Father gave me. Thank You, Lord, for Your awesome Word and instruction.

Yes, thank You, Lord.

Beginning the Journey: THE BEGINNING OF PROPHECY

And He said to me, You are My servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.
-Isaiah 49:3

For over 7 months before the letter was written to our partners on September 13, the Lord had been speaking into our hearts the prophetic words of the beginning of His ministry. The words came through Godly people who knew of our ministry through the Non-Denominational Church that we attended but also through those who had known us in the helps ministry. These words of prophecy began to come true as we sought the Lord and began listening for His voice and heeding His words. We spent much time in prayer and in the Word searching out the scriptures that He led us to seek and also lying prostrate on the floor, yielding to Him in every way possible. He took us through deliverance of fears and anxieties that had permeated our life because of the daily struggles of finances and family.

Previous Ministry

People would speak to us of our calling to encourage others. For many years Karen had a Barnabas ministry to Senior Adults as well as dear friends. We had walked through the illness and death of a beloved pastor and the daily encouragement of his wife and family. We had walked through some illness in our own families including the death of Charley’s parents and the family situations that come from these daily struggles.

Father’s Plan and Purpose

Our lives were not our own and we realized that Father had a plan and purpose far beyond what we could see and understand. We decided to choose to follow Jesus and to walk out the prophecy being spoken over us and to see what the Lord would do through our obedience. We rejoice in the fulfillment of the prophetic words and the praise, honor and glory belongs to Jesus.

Preach the Word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

On September 13, 1999, we wrote a letter to our prayer partners sharing the direction Father was taking us in this ministry which He had begun. Part of that letter said:
“Dear Friends, what an awesome journey we are on with our Lord! We have experienced His love, grace and mercy in our lives every step of the way. Now we want to share the next mile we are to travel. Beginning September 15 our life will be traveling all over the country encouraging and loving on pastors. We will be teaching and preaching as Father gives opportunity but much time will be spent sharing and planting our lives into the lives of pastors, wives and families. Since the first of this year the Lord has been getting us ready to go.”

Ready to Go!

“We will be sending a newsletter from the road as Father provides all the provision He has promised for our journey. Right now there are 32 ministry people, pastors and servants, with whom we will be spending time. They are all over the U.S. and overseas. That is just the beginning. Praise the Lord! Our house is in order and we are ready to go.”
